She is the sister of Lauren Cahill. Cahill was born in Stafford Virginia. Cahill started performing locally in productions at the high school her mother attended when she was four years old. Cahill also began singing and dance lessons as early as age eight years old. Miss Pre-Teen Virginia 1991 was the second-place finisher behind Miss Junior America. In her final year as a senior at Brooke Point High School, she was president of several clubs and the Honor Thespians. Cahill scored the top marks of all her peers in the drama audition in the Governors School for the Arts in her sophomore year. Cahill won the overall actor award at the age of 16 in Actors Models Talent for Christ. Then she was chosen into the Barton and Williams Dance Company which won both individual and company prizes. When she graduated at the age of 18, she enrolled in Marymount Manhattan College (New York) as a performer and academic arts scholarship. The year she graduated, she left college, and went on to pursue a profession acting as a full-time actress with the city of Los Angeles.
